Parish Priest - Fr. Cameron Freese
My name is Fr Cameron Freese and I have been the Vicar at St Paul's Samford since January 2009.
Before that I served as Assistant Curate at St Bartholomew's Mt Gravatt. I have a background in science and, prior to becoming a Priest in 2007, spent 13 years as a Microbiologist and Biochemist, primarily working as a Microbiologist in the Food and Pharmaceutical industries. Education and knowledge are important to me and, as such, I have completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Microbiology/Biochemistry) and a Masters of Divinity.
I am married to Terri and have two children. Terri and I both enjoy outdoor activities with Terri being a personal trainer and myself enjoying rock climbing.
My vocation as a Priest is expressed in Parish ministry, where I enjoy liturgy, the exploration of spirituality and providing education about the faith, thereby enabling people to find, develop and express their own spiritual gifts, making this a community were we can truly belong, believe and be.
